“Cultural Management and Creative Economy” at КЪЩА Creative Hub, Sofia, Bulgaria (UPCOMING EVENT)

HOUSE CREATIVE HUB invites you to a two-day training on the topic Cultural Management and Creative Economy. The training will take the form of lectures, practical exercises and discussions.

The motivation to organize this event arose from a desire to discuss and analyze what is the meaning of cultural space; the need of it in Bulgaria; strategies forfor its managment and sustainable existence; funding; vision … and many others.

HOUSE CREATIVE HUB is a coworking space created by artists for artists and creative people in 2015 with the basic idea to provide access to freelance artists to appropriate and professional base to work on their personal projects and to form a community of artists from different fields who have the opportunity to exchange ideas and cooperate.

This sounds wonderful but actually pops out a number of factors that make such a project a little bit more difficult than expected. So our team decided to turn to the extremely innovative and interesting persona Dimitris Michalaros from Greece. Dimitris is a visual artist, curator and cultural manager with extensive experience and creative thinking (take look at his biography below). He will be in Bulgaria for several days, which will hold training includes: lectures, practical exercises and discussions mostly through which to discuss different strategies for management of cultural space. A guinea pig will be House Creative Hub.

The training is targeting people who are freelance artists, cultural managers, have a desire to create creative spaces, already have one or would like to join the team of HOUSE Creative Hub, Erasmus + young people, people who are just curious or would like to participate in the creation of innovative models to guide the cultural space in Bulgaria and others.
